Today is a rainy day, which is normal for this time of year. The rain is different to what it is in Thailand or the states. The sky just absolutely pours, it is monsoon weather, similar to what I imagine India to be like. Still we went out in the early morning for a swim in the pool. There was no one around and it was quite peaceful.
Last night Todd and I went out to the appropriately named "Monsoon" restaurant, where we had a meal that was startlingly good, like going to a restaurant in the states. It was expensive, but it was a celebration for his birthday, as he is now 37, and also for the anniversary of when we met, which is the day after his birthday. 9 years! No pictures from dinner, but I will attach a few more of where we live, just so you can get more of a feel for it. Hopefully next time I'll get some photos of my class and the street.
