Hi all,
It's been a few weeks since I've posted, but life has been very quiet so there' s not too much to tell. Todd and I are well, and we've been quite involved in our classrooms as usual. Still, we both notice that at this point we are not working as hard as we were in the beginning of the year. Experience definitely has some benefits! In Todd's classroom, students have been writing their own choose your own adventure books, while in mine we have been videotaping a news program about the events in the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, which they read in class. Todd has also been busy coordinating the community service club's clothes drive, sending his students out to all the classrooms to spread the word and get the boxes put out.
This is our second three-day weekend in a row, which comes at a really nice time. This weekend is chinese new year, so we expect we'll hear some firecrackers at some point over the weekend.
I haven't been able to post any pictures, so this will have to do. Thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes! I hope you are having a good winter (or summer for those in Australia).

Dear Meghan, I just wanted to say hi and a belated happy birthday. It's been a long time since I've written, and I'm guessing my email from way back never arrived. I love reading your blog...thanks for taking the time to send all those great posts.
