clubs and activities...

Hi all,

It has been a quiet week, with not much new or unusual to report. I started doing an activity this week, teaching drama, which I’ll do once a week for three weeks. It’s a bit of an experiment, and I plan to try out several of the activities I’ve found online. I’ll try to take picture of any highlights that occur. Todd has been carrying on with his community service club. He’s been very into this club, and getting his students interested in giving. There is a community right next to the school that is quite poor, and needs a lot of help, and they are fundraising right now so they can give rice and other needed items to them. They ran into a bit of a hitch when the government man in the neighborhood found out about it, and told the school to stop. Todd’s trying to work around this, but it is challenging for him, because it’s hard to imagine that someone would have a problem with people helping others, but for whatever reason it seems to happen.

Here’s a shot of me working on my blog. I take my computer downstairs to the business center to upload to the blog, but I can write at home. Todd’s working also, but it’s school-related stuff. When I tried to transfer the photo to my computer, we discovered that the card reader had cobwebs and poo in it! These are the things that make us laugh, living over here in Asia.

Take care everyone!
Love, Meghan
