Bangkok!

Hi Everyone,

Todd and I having our Fall break right now. It came at a really nice time, when we both could use a little time off. We went over to Bangkok to renew our Myanmar visas and to do a little shopping, and Bangkok is quite a different world to Yangon! It has so many glittery shopping malls, skytrain, and despite the incredible traffic (45 minutes to go 2 miles!), less air pollution than Yangon. We had checkups at the local fancy hospital, met some friends, and then shopped all over the place. We bought some books, some things for Todd's bike, and 6 bags of muesli (which was even on sale!). We even bought some salsa, tortillas and beans to bring back with us, as Mexican is still one of our favorites. I still haven't perfected homemade tortillas, so it's good to have a few store bought ones. We have a few more days of break, and these days will probably be filled with preparing for the upcoming quarter, with some relaxation in there as well.

Take care everyone, hope you all are well.

Love, Meghan
